Sunday, 25 February 2001

The charter flights were delayed so we spent most of Sunday at the Atlanta airport.  Once in the air, the group was real happy to be heading to Cancun.

Monday, 26 February 2001

During the day was a beach party.  They had massages and lunch for everyone on the beach.  I finally started reading "The Notebook", a book given to me by Stephanie months earlier.

Our room at the Ritz Carlton in Cancun had a beautiful view.  Each night we slept with the windows open so we could hear the sound of the Caribean Sea.

Dinner was at an authentic Mexican rodeo.  We ate and drank after playing carnival games.  After dinner the rodeo began.

Tuesday, 27 February 2001

Stephanie and I scheduled massages this morning and then relaxed the rest of the day on the beach.

For dinner, we went with a group to Parico's, a lively Mexican restaurant in downtown Cancun.

Wednesday, 28 February 2001

Today we went on another field trip to a place called Xei Ha.  It was a natural water park where we rode floats down a river.  After lunch, we had another massage.

The last dinner was at the Ritz Carlton ballroom.  The band Los Lobos played after dinner.
